This beautiful Bunka is forged to its finished dimensions with only the lower section of the blade being ground to a finish. This ‘forged to finish’ approach gives the blade a unique rustic forged look whilst delivering a very high performance. The Bunka style blade is well suited for most tasks in the kitchen. However, its finely ground edge does not lend itself to chopping through chicken bones or similar. The knife is finished off with a beautiful olive and blackwood Japanese style handle.
This knife comes with a leather sheath (saya) to keep it safe in the kitchen or to pack for a camping trip. 👍
