Aragorn's 8.5" chef knife with figured blackwood handle
This stunning 8.5” (21.2cm) chef knife is inspired by something you might find in The Lord Of The Rings. However, don’t be fooled by its original shape. This knife is an absolute joy to use and I guarantee it would become one of your favourites:) I have balanced the fantastical aesthetic with the essential attributes of a reliable chef knife ensuring that it remains a functional tool while also being a piece of art in your kitchen.
The carbon steel blade is forged in a stunning low layer W’s pattern that resembles a dragons fire and the handle is a highly figured piece of African Blackwood that has been sourced from a community forest project in Tanzania. I have added some brass shiny bits to bring a little bling to the party and of course my fancy ‘5’ pin for good measure.
The blade is carbon steel, has a forged taper on the spine from 3.5mm to 0.1 at the tip. It is 21.2cm in length and 57.1 deep and the heel.
The overall weight is 272g and is balanced just in front of the bolster.
